16ft 900HP flat bottom boat

Here is 2 videos of my buddies 16ft flat bottom boat. it has a 496 alcohol dragster engine in it. This was the first time we took it out since it was completed. We were out in the Chesepeake Bay so it was a bit rough. We need to find a lake or some calm water to really get on it. We only got up to about 5000rpm which is around 65-70mph. The engine can handle 9000rpm. Enjoy!

Dude, this is awesome. My Dad will love this. We have two flat bottoms. We are a HUGE boat race family. We've got a 16ft Howard with about 690HP. I will post up my vids real quick. I have an onboard of our last run of the season. It was the last run because we bent a rod But it was 100.8 MPH on GPS. I will post it up and set it on here! brb!

yea sorry. i took this video in july/august. We only ever took it out once. Its a pain in the *** to take out because we have to tow it with another buddies boat out from the ramp and out in the water since it doesnt really idle lol. With it being so low, it takes on a lot of water as well. I took a ride in that bad boy and it was insane. No harnesses or seatbelts and it just takes off instantly while the engine and headers are right behind your head. Definately a wild ride.

thats awesome! yea we dont really have a way to measure how fast it was going. my buddies father races and builds dragsters and thats how we got the motor for the boat. it use to have a 454 gas motor in it when he bought it. And he has painted it since then and we put the alcohol motor in it.

We dont have any that run alchohol... to dangerous for drunk hillbillies. If its on fire we'd never know till our face fell off. But both run on 110 Leaded. The one I am uploading the video of is the lesser powered one.

The 18ft flatbottom is a Rayson Craft. Both are V-Drives, but the Rayson Craft has a 2 speed tranny in it with a blown 426 HEMI. Its putting out almost 1,100 HP on 110 But I have no vids of that one. Im the one always driving it.
