NASCAR RIDE ALONG

Monday morning at 9 a.m. I recieved a new found respect for Nascar drivers. Had a 3 lap ride at Pocono Speedway. I still don't believe how that car stuck in the turns like it did. The G-force is incredible. And those guys do it for 200 laps here. Simply amazing. Just thought I'd share.

I did the "Ride-a-Long" at Daytona, it felt like we were doing 65 on the interstate instead of 155 there, the G-force at Daytone pushes you down in the seat, I see why you have to use spotters there, you can't see well because of the banking and at some points actaully look out the side window instead of the windsheild to look at the other end if the corners as you enter them.

Next time I want to drive, we've been invited by the Petty's if we ever get the chance.

I'm jealous as well...

I've long been tempted to do something like that.. but I don't think I'd be satisfied unless I went for the whole package, and got to drive myself!!!
