Just Got Me A Pre Obama Jeep!! Pics

We'll, long story short, the wife & I were starting to think about life after the dirtbikes. She doesn't feel safe operating an atv so we knew we would both be on one machine. I thought the side by side would be safer & much more fun & comfortable for her.
After looking at them, we decided to go with this: It's our first one.

Right now the doors & top are off & we are in Heaven. It's got the 6 speed manual too!!

These were taken yesterday. Took off the 32's & put on the 35's. Also put in the 5.13's & rear locker!!

Nice JK, but I thought you said JEEP. Mines an '81 CJ-7. At least act like a Jeeper and wave. Gotta do the Jeep wave. Most new Jeep people look down on our original machines. We don't care.......they don't get it.

Those are in fact great questions. My plan was to get the Jeep when we were too old to swing a leg over the bikes. We were just looking when I found this one on KSL.com. I just had to have it.
We still love the KTM's & plan on keeping them for a few more years. They have been wonderful machines.
Thanks for askin guys!

Thanks Ben. How the heck are you? Long time indeed my friend. Ya, the JK's came out in 07. The guys with the CJ's, TJ's & older flame the JK pretty hard.
Fact is, any jeep is a good jeep. Kind of like a dune buggy but you only work on them 50% of the time, not 90%.
Tomorrow I'll have Momma download a current picture of it.
My neigbor has an 00. I've out raced & out climbed him. Certainly wouldn't trade him.

Ha Ha, ya knock on wood. I swore I'd never go Chrysler. So far it's just been fun. Only has 19K on the clock.
