Want to build a sand rail and need some help

Is ther anyone on here that has built a sand rail kit car. I found a few on the net but was wondering if there was a good company to go with. If there is any sand rail guys on here chime in and let me know where to start. I was thinking a 2 seater mid travel with a vw motor.

im in oklahoma like 30 min north of okc, Im looking for a frame kit that you weld together.

It would be cool as long as i only wanted to go slow on the sand its just to heavy. I did however try to put a diesel motor out of a refer truck in a kawasaki mule.
