Mason Dixon TDC Spring Fling
When...Saturday May 19th & Sunday May 20th
The Mason-Dixon Turbo Diesel Club would like to extend a invite to all here for our annual Spring Dyno/BBQ event. This years event will be a 2 day event so we can try and get everyone who desires to dyno onto the "Humbler" and shake off their winter cobwebs. We also will be welcoming the new owners of the business with their first dyno event so lets all make them work hard and keep them busy. Dave,George and Jason are now the owners of the former "Kauffman Motorsports" shop and are always at the events. Jason is the newbie of the group and needs a initiation M-D TDC style,LOL. So with that here is the info................. What...."Roll With The Changes" 2007 Spring Fling Dyno Event/BBQ Where..SGS Performance 901 Range End Road Dillsburg,PA 17019 (717)-502-0880 SGS Automotive Cost...$70 for 3 spins with HP/TQ readings There will be no classes as this is a bragging rights, stick your chest out, outlaw style roll. This means all is fair in love and war,you come in,strap up, let the numbers fly and may the best man or woman,Ford-Dodge or Chevy be the top dog. So who can or will lay the smack down and go home with bragging rights, time will tell. The only rules we will have is stack owners will have to drop their flex pipes or allow us to slide the exhaust tubes down over the stacks and dually owners must remove the outside wheels to help keep the show rolling. Also for the dually owners if you would prefer to dyno with a set of 2500 wheels(singles) some of the guys may be able to bring their extras for you to borrow. Tools will be provided to help and other members will be able to help you if needed. Those who desire to do some BOMBing work may use the shop, but, please all we ask is you clean up after yourself and then dyno during the weekends event at some time. Keith |

While many manufacturers can claim many things their respective parts can do for you, and your ride, the "Humbler" can show what you actually gain. and lay the hype aside. Dodge.........NGM Diesel Ford...........DockBoy Chevy/GMC..Tiny 1st Gen.......WannaDiesel The 2 Wildcard entries for the Torque Shootout show are as folllows..... KZimmerman's Fummins and ThugLike's Ford.Kia's Ford Cummins conversion was one of the nicest looking rides there. Wheelspeed award on the dyno went to Andrew when his 01 Dodge sled puller, which finished 3rd the night before at the local Washington County pull, laid down a scary 160mph shot when dynoing. Somehow Interco never envisioned their TruxUs tires to go that fast, I am guessing, nor did they expect them to distort them like that either. The hard luck award goes to RamSport01. Today when doing his pull he had the misfortune of loosing his headgasket. It was the first one that has been lost at our shows in a few years, and hopefully he can get it fixed up, and return. In the "I should be sponsored" category... Does anyone besides this writer think that ARP should step up, and give Doug Leonhard a set of new head studs? I am certain that as many times as he has lifted, banged, back fired, or tried to blow up his motor, and it still runs. He has have to tested the sheer strength limits of their product, and yet he drives her home, and to his fire calls daily as needed. |

It was a good time. Last year at Fall Brawl there was over 100 trucks dynoed on the 2 days, and that was with the dyno's computer down for 2 hours. There was over 150 trucks at the Saturday of Fall Brawl.
Here are some pics of the event. Picasa Web Albums - Andy - Spring Fling ... Keith |
