Lots of nice PSD's in Minot lately

Hey all,
While on my rare occasions down in town, I noticed alot of nice trucks running around. How many have made their way to the forums here?

I am from over in Williston and I have seen quite a few around the west side of the state too while I'm working. It doesn't seem like anyone is on here though.

They can't be when they are mostly working or in the bars. Seems to be the common theme around here now a days.

I'm sure you've seen alot of that going on around there as guys need to burn off some of the work.

i am from minot lived therefrom 97 and i am oil field but dont spend off time in the bars. My off time is with the family or playing with the 6.0l

Hey Doug. Didn't mean to generalize ALL oil workers. Just seems to be the thing. Our Airmen typically end up in trouble because they were in fights or jumped at the bar by a ton of oil guys. We only hear about it since I don't go out and drink. Funny thing is, we're loosing alot of guys to the oil fields. I just got my North Dakota CDL myself. You never know.

Dave i am hear to tell you the way every one talks about oil field is not the case most of us are not out rapeing girls doing drugs or any of the other **** you hear that is a few it is like the air force there is always a few bad apples in the box most of us are to tired to do any of that. Infact i think if i did coke or meth i would fall asleep while doing it some times the oil filed is not a bad place to work but you work hard some time my job is alot of *** time with what i do

That's why we don't hear about the good. Good guys are working while the others are not. Ha! I have considered after retirement. A buddy of mine is driving for the rigs and with his AF retirement (not much at all) and his paycheck from the oil, he brings home almost $9500 monthly!!! If it weren't for the kids and time away from them, I'd surely be joining him. You know how Minot is, we're too small for this fast paced growth. It's slowly catching up though.

I'm up here in Minot cause of the fact that I'm in the air force. I've been here about 3 years now and I really love it here cause I'm an outdoorsy kind of guy.
