Diesel mechanic in S. Wake?

I am looking at a '99 F250 in Fuquay Varina and I'd like to have a diesel mechanic take a quick look at it before I buy it. Or even just someone who knows what to look for. I am new to Ford trucks and Powerstrokes. The seller has no maintenance records and has no clue about previous owners. The truck look a bit rough around the edges, the engine drips a bit of oil, but it runs OK.

Any advice would be appreciated!

Found what seems like a decent mechanic shop in F/V called "I Fix Fords" ... they seemed competent with Powerstrokes and reasonable, overall.

FWIW - I bought the truck ... now I have to find a good PSD guy in Durham.

Look up Rudy's Performance and Offroad in Effland, Right outside Chaple hill. great guys to work with.
