1986 questions

Im lookin at a 1986 f250 for sale here. Its a gasser with a 4 speed tarnny...anyways its a 1986 and im looking to build a cheap plow truck and im thinking this is it depending on what the frame looks like.
I need to know what frames are the same as the 86' so i can buy a plow frame.

80-86 for sure, possibly the 87-93 as well. They are pretty much the same setup chassis wise. 80-86 will have your same body

ive yet to look at the truck in person. any known problems with these years? i no its not a diesel, its just a regular 302. might be a stupid question

86 was the first year for EFI. The front shock mounts are rust prone, some have 1 shock on each side and some have a Quad shock setup

thanks for the info torkin..i never even went to look at the truck. found another one with a plow for the same price. a 88 goin to look at that now lol
