good morning first post

Well guys I guess that it had to happen.I finally am getting to inatall a 7.3 into my old 6.9.I bought this old girl new in 84 ( thats 25 years ) F 250 (heavy duty) 4X4 A/T.
Well over a million miles on her,2 - 6.9 engines and 1 Auto trans. and 1 new windshield, several sets of tires and lots of brakes and she still pulls my boat just fine.I have heard that this swap is easy and basicly a bolt in. However I thought that I could get some info and advice from youall .Is the 6.9 flex plate for the A/T the same as the one on the 7.3 ??? And are there any other problems out there that I might not have heard about yet! I would apperciate any info or advice. (Oh by the way you all probably know this but these baby's run on just about anything including used motor oil Any weight,any brake fluid even snnthetic. all old or new ATF,diffy oil , all cooking oils use or new,paint tninner used w/ the old paint in it . Just be carefull not to mix the ratio's to fat on the diffy oil side.)

Are you putting in the 7.3 IDI or the powerstroke?
