E 350 van conversion ZF 5 spd?

Hello Folks,

I have a 1994 non turbo pre powerstroke Econoline 7.3 idi E350 with quigley 4x4 conversion. final gear 1-- 4.09
The auto transmission with overdrive is shot, no movement in any gear.
I would like to convert the van to a manual transmission.
Quigley used a converter piece to connect the transfer case to the original auto transmission

Did anybody do this?

Any idea what flywheel I would have to use, dual mass or normal form 6.9?
Would a 5 spd ZF 4x4 bolt up to the transfercase, or would it be possible to use 5 spd ZF 2wd and use the quigley converter?

What problems to expect adding a clutch pedal?

Better to go with hydraulic or cable driven clutch ?

Use parking brake mechanism as clutch pedal and add parking brake handle on side of seat?

Thanks for any insights

J
