you won't buy gas there? why the hell not? I have a 50 gal aux tank and a 60 gal normal tank and I drive down specifically for fuel....and the best part is they have LSD in most places not this ULSD bull crap that we have here

we filled up my moms suburban over there once and it barely made it in the driveway before it started knocking and eventually blew up
a few friends of mine have had similar problems running gas from over there

I would be doing the same if I was closer to Mexico! As for dipping, I don't really see much happening up here. I know we've been lucky at times in the work truck when its out of fuel just use the aux tank and start pumping offroad in so that we can get to the gas station.

So in theory since they just dip the main tank, you could tap you aux tank and run off that as long as your main tank was normal diesel right?

I guess that could be possible. I mean our company puts offroad diesel in all our aux tanks for when I'm on the jobsite and equiptment might need fueling. So in theory you could get away with it as long as your main tank doesn't get contaminated.

almost 2 years back they tried dipped a buddy and i at the stockyards in fort worth while we were hauling cattle. they said they were dipping everyone with or without farm truck plates. the tank on the old psd was good, only had a few gallons of pump diesel in it, but the aux tank was 3/4 full of die-diesel. he didn't get us because he couldn't tell it was plumbed into the truck and we told him it was for the tractors since the pump and filler nozzle were still on it. they gave out a bunch of tickets or something though. i guess i'll just have to get an aux tank for the 95 and do a little stealth install like the other truck so they don't pop me for running die.
