Zerex G-05 on top of Ford Gold

I cant find anything on this, but... As I understand, Zerex G-05 is approved as a replacement for Ford's Gold coolant. Does this mean it can be put in on top of Ford's Gold? For instance, just doing a coolant change because of mileage and dont want to hassle with flushing.
Or say you're on the road, and need to top off, have G-05 available, and would rather use it than just adding water and screwing up a 50/50 mix in the engine, and then needing a flush later on anyway. Thanx for all input
