what size are the fuel tanks in an 86 f350 drw

Well, my book says for my OBS (don't know if there the same)

19.0 gal front
18.2 rear

Of course I've never put in more then 15 at a time. ANd I plan on a 28 Gal load.

reason i asked is cause my buddy has an 86 f350 drw 4x4 short flatbed and only the front tank is hooked up and the gauge say full on a 10 gallon fill up and says empty when the 10 gallons is gone
