Got an interesting project in mind just need some feedback

Now that am a happy newbie of ford, diesels and 7.3...I am wanting to do a project and need some feedback.

I wanting to buy an 2wd/2dr 94-99 tahoe/yukon/or full size blazer. Of course these were rare so I am wondering if any of you know how hard it would be to convert an 4x4 to an 4x2. Crazy as it may seem but once I have something in mind I am full speed ahead. Most of the 2wd/2dr left they want an arm, leg and one wet nut for. Thanks

May I ask why? I guess you could just disconnect the front driveshaft but really thats not going to gain you anything other then not haveing 4x4 when you need it. I don't see any mpg gains really by doing this

THE RIDE is what I am after. I owned a 4x4 Full Size back in Highschool..had it for 7 years. I just drove an 2wd the other day..rode very smoothly and actually was much more quicker. I dont plan to keep an STOCK engine in this project...4x4 will just get in the way. Plus..I like tearing stuff up! hahahah This project will be mainly geared for car shows....Money Money Money right.

Ah okay a full conversion then Not my expertise by any means, but Im sure someone will chime in and give you some great advise.

Yeah I had a vision when I had my 94...wished I kept it but the money Gods at the time forced me to let it go 4 years ago. Found one on ebay looked great...IN CA though...has the basics of what I am wanting to do for the finish product. 12k and then shipping cost would put my project off for 2 years or so. I have already got the engine in mind...guess i could sell my 94 impala ss. Who knows. Thanks though.

I am a former and soon to be back Law Enforcement...man I know how people dont care about the ones who enforce freedoms and laws until they need em. People just dont know how nasty this world has gotten..always got my support!
