alternator

I have a 1990 Ford F350 7.3 Diesel if I unhook the batterys should it keep running mine doesn't does that mean a bad alternator Thanks Curt

Yes the truck should keep running. If in dout on the alt run it up to parts store and have load check the battery and alt.
