my 88 IDI an some ideas for it

i just got a 88 f350 7.3 idi dually and now after i get the battery cable issue taken care of an the brake booster replaced im thinking of going 19.5's all around or maybe even go super single out back i found a few pics of a truck with em an really liked the look an they are rated more than the truck could ever possibly haul so theyd proly last a good long time ..im jus throwing some ideas that i have come across ...as for the motor im fine with it cuzz it pulls like a frieght train an im not worried about any off the line times ...although i did find a aftermarket turbo kit from Hypermax for it that is tempting.. my fuel milage was better than i would expect on the way home so no issue there either ....i would like to lower my rpms on the highway an well im doing some searching around the site looking for what all things everyone has done to get a lil more out of their trucks mpg wise an learning what to look for to make sure my truck runs a long long time ...im sure there is more but right now i cant think of it so i guess this is the start who knows where it will go from here ....i really like the site an there is a ton of info that has been very usefull so far

I would either get some nice 16" rims or 19.5's. SuperSingles would look a little odd out back and normal up front. Take a few pictures of your rig

well she is running an by saying that i mean it runs like new was actually told by a guy that he had never heard a diesel sound so good ..so i guess that a good thing for an 88 ....the hunt for the brake booster is ongoing but its still drive able an i looked into the wheel thing an there are not any good looking 19.5's except Alcoas an they dont make a direct fit for my 8 lug pattern on the 88 at least that is what i was told.....im still thinking 22.5 an supersingle but im also looking at the 20 an 22 rims i need to find at least a good load rating on them though because the truck is gonna be used to haul things with so the tires got to hold up....also looking at the hypermax turbo kit cuz if i get a taller wheel a lil more power wouldnt hurt ...this is gona be a neat project if i can get what i want out of it patience an time will tell
