83 INJEC pump

ok guys we have a 83 6.9 that needs an injection pump. im a 7.3 guy and need some input please!

Easiest way is to pull the intake manifold off. Then te IP has three bolts holding it to the cover. Do not take the cover off, don't do that. Just those three bolts that hold it to the cover. Then remove the oil filter neck, this will expose where the IP bolts up to the gear. Take out those bolts. IP has a dowel to keep the timing within spec.

Forgot to mention, all injector lines need to
Come off.
