Update on 94 idi turbo

Well picked her up on Saturday morning in Chicago in the ice cold with 3 inches of snow on the ground and more coming down. The truck is in better shape than I expected drives really good and is a lot quicker than I expected. I drove it home Sunday 764 miles with out a hiccup and she even started on the second try in the morning in the 12 degree weather without being plugged in all night I was wondering what oil and filters you guys are using on yours and intervals for fuel and water separator filters?? I also want to thank everyone who answers all my other questions and will have pictures on here soon

Replace the fuel filter at least once a year. Fuel filter is also a water seperator on your truck.

As far as oil, thats everyones own opinion. Rotella, motorcraft, delo, they all do fine.

Power Stroke oil filter #FL-1995 holds an extra quart and offers better filtration.
Fuel filter every other oil change.

Agreed with the powerstroke oil filter, though some people have clearance problems with them. Its tight but it should fit, and does offer a lower micron rating so filters better.

i was wondering about using a powerstroke oil filter, did some engines have different oil pans? not to hijack

Will do I do have two questions after driving when I shut it off it leaks a few drops of oil by the balancer I took a look at it but it seems to be coming from higher up is there any hoses or oil lines up over the crank?? And sometimes at highway speeds it seems like there is no boost other times it pulls like a raped ape whats up with that ??
