6.9 IDI Upgrades

Im looking for a good site to find some cheap upgrades for the 6.9. I found a website that was Hypermax technology or something like that with a 3.5" exhaust and a bunch of other stuff. Im about to buy a truck with the 6.9 and would like to check on the aftermarket following for them.

Will that give me better gas miliage? Going by what i know about gas ( which i know is different in a lot of areas compared to diesel ) that means i will have less miliage.

yes, it will give you worse mileage. You are adding fuel but not air. Thats just for a tiny more hop and some smoke

Honestly, at this point id rather have the miliage. I dont have a job yet because no one wants to hire a 17 year old around here so ill be dwindling my funds paying for fuel.

IDI's benifit most with a turbo. That IS the best performance mod you can do. If you stay N/A, make it breath better, custom intake, and bigger exhaust with a less restrictive exhaust. Put a pyro on it, and turn the pump up a bit. Thats about as far as I would go with a N/A IDI. I also know of a guy who sell a torque grind cam, and I've ridden in his truck, its legit.

So it is worth it to put a turbo kit on the IDI? What now though? Is turning the pump up enough for how much air your adding?
