hello new to 7.3 got 2 questions

ok i have a 7.3 idi with a hyper max turbo driving around with no load my egt is about 400to700 is that good? and can some one show me a pic of the temp gage cuz i dont no id its in the right area around town its lower than on high way

ya thats a good temp man. as long as you stay below 1200. dont push 1400 for more than a 1/4 mile or you will get engine too hot. possibly melt a piston or up pipe or damage turbo.

LOL hyeah that's fine, people are driving around with 1100 with sone mods. 700 will be no problem.

what bout the temp of the engine how far should the temp neddle be mine sits on the O in the word normal is that ok?

ya. the stock gauges are basically dummy lights. As long as its pointed toward normal its good to go.

should be ok if your not towing a ton of weight. they are sort of hit or miss. some guys have the stock trans in their trucks forever, some wear out quick. how does it shift? how many miles are on it? what are you looking to use the truck for?
