manual tranny

Hey guys, I've got a 86 4x4 crew cab with the 6.9 and a C-6. I have heard that I can convert it to a manual tranny. Has anyone heard about that and or know any web sites? From what I heard, a 4 speed would bolt write up and with a special clutch a later model 5 speed would too.
I also have a Banks turbo kit that I bought used and it needs rebuilt. Any thoughts on where I can send it for rebuilding? I would like to pull the engine, rebuild it and put on the turbo and manual tranny while I have it out.
Any thoughts on how I can further boost the power beyond turbo and turning up the injector would be cool too! My plan is to find the breaking point so don't be shy.
