1983 F-250 4x4

I just bought me another pick up it's a 1983 F-250 4x4 Reg. Cab. Long Bed, with a Gas 460 and a auto tranny. Body was in pretty bad shape but I bought it mainly for the 4WD system. Now would this truck have a Dana 60 in it or a Sterling 10.25? It's missing the I.D. Tag on the axle so I can't I.D. it that way.

The rear axle is more than likely a Dana 70, and the front is a Dana 44HD TTB.

They didnt start using Sterlings until around 86

I found out the truck is actually a 1984, and I'll get ya'll some pictures when I go and move it again. Getting ready to do a head gasket on it, and maybe a ring and valve job if I can afford it lol

The only thing bad about our Dana 70's is its kinda an odd model of them, and its hard to find aftermarket stuff, like lockers, limited slips, ect...
