Some folks have asked about this, so we have put together the following rules for the ROTM contest. They are as follows-
-- As of September 1, 2008, Powerstroke.Org's ROTM contest will be open to Premium members only, meaning, only premium members may submit an entry, but ALL members can vote. This is a way that we can give back to our supporting members. we hope this does not create a problem for our regular members, as we do appreciate what you bring to the site. if you have any questions please feel free to ask any of our site staff, we will answer any questions we can.
- Approximately 3 weeks prior to a ROTM contest beginning, an announcement will be made describing the ROTM theme for that month. Members will have that 3 week period to get their entry pic posted ( 1 pic per member please). All Premium Members, Vendors, Sponsors, Supporters, Techies, Supermods, Mods are allowed to enter.
- Once all entries are in, they wil be gathered in no particular order and be assigned a number. then another member will be sent a PM with the range of numbers ( 1 through whatever ) and be asked to choose 4 numbers. once the numbers have been chosen the new thread with poll will be set up and opened for voting.
- All entries MUST have a PSD in it...Doesn't matter if its a ford, dodge, chevy, RV, truck, or a boat (yes....we actually have a member with a PSD boat)....its not a FORD forum....its a Powerstroke forum....so any....and ONLY vehicles with PSD motors in them can be entered.
- You must be the owner of the entry you send in. No pics of a buddy's truck to get in the contest. In the case of a work truck theme where you may need to post a pic of a Ford diesel that you drive DAILY, work on DAILY, etc, the announcement will be made when the contest is announced.
- No pictures that have been altered by ( photoshop, paint, any editing software ) will be accepted.
- After the entry period, a "final four" will be randomly drawn and entered into the voting polls for the contest.
- No member will be allowed to be in the final four two months in a row.
- No member shall be eligable for entry for 1 calender year after they win ROTM
- Any member that wins a ROTM contest must STILL be a member in good standing at the conclusion of the contest. If not, the runner up entry will win first prize.
- All Premium members.... supporters, mods, techies, vendors...ETC ARE eligable to win ROTM.
- No Admin or family of Admin are eligible for ROTM.
- If a vendor wins ROTM....the vendor will get $75 cash. no vendor shall enter a contest he is sponsoring.
- The prize for winning ROTM is a $75 gift certificate towards any vendor/sponsor of your choice.
- In the case of a Tie, the member with the earlier join date will win. If there is the same join date.....then the member with the most posts at the time of the close of the poll will win.
- Should a situation arrise that cant be resolved by these rules, the ROTM manager ( Rwalker ), along with Mods and Admins will work out the details.
