Picasa Web Albums - Jeff - Heading home ... Ok this is our truck pulling the boat. Truck 215 HP top speed 103 mph (on the highway Mojave CA) Boat 225 HP top speed 54 mph Truck has modifyed fuel system, 3.5" downpipe, 6 inch lift, rear disk brakes, 20" wheels. I use B100, and soon WVO. Longest trip was from Northern California to Pahrump, NV with my three kids spring break 2006. Filled 225 gallon tank in short bed with 135 gallons of BioDiesel and made it there and back with 75 gallons left. 17.3 mpg. Not to bad for close to 9,000 lbs (fuel, gear, me and kids). We left the boat at home.. |

I don't think we are haveing a truck of the month contest for April, I believe they have to get some of the site stuff fixed up for it first, as far as I know, it will be back for May.
