That would be an interesting conversion, no doubt about that, wonder if anyone has done it. But the one thing I did like about my 94 6.5 was the incredible fuel mileage it got, hard to give that up, but they were gutless.

i had a 6.5 detroit in a 97 chevy dually but like you said not a power house but it was good on fuel,i got 15.6 mpg loaded or empty.i guess when you compare the early 90s psd with the 6.5 they were about the same power.

Sorry or the Hijack guys, but after 95 the 6.5 was useing the OBD 2 instead of the OBD 1, and were esier to upgrade for a little more power.
