Worst wreck I've ever seen.

I work at the local speedway in Xenia, Ohio called Kil-Kare Speedway. Tonight during Late Model qualifying, the #75 took his warm-up lap, and came around the take the green flag. He got up to speed at the back stretch and went balls out. As soon as he crossed the start/finish line to get the green, his motor let go, and locked the rear end up. He never had time to steer the car away, and he slammed into the wall head on, and I saw the entire car come off the ground over 4ft in the air. After it landed, the car slid for about 700 feet before coming to a stop. I was first to get to him, and he was unconscious for a few seconds and woke up. He was transported to the local hospital where they later called us and told us he was perfectly fine, but he is gonna be sore for a few weeks.

I've seen one death at that track before, and some bad wrecks, but no hit as hard as this guy took, and by the looks of it, I was sure I was running up to another dead driver. Thankfully he is okay.

The impact was so hard, the drivers seat was shoved 7 inches to the right, and broke the roll bars in the car. Here are a few pictures I snapped after we loaded it on the trailer.

BTW, this exact car is the Late Model track record holder.

Me too, I just spoke with the girl that drives his other car (super hottie) but she says he is still in the hospital, awaiting results from the CAT scan.

Yea, I'd say he is going to be really sore for a couple weeks. Glad he is ok and hope the cat scan comes out good

Turns out he fractured a few bones in his neck. So he will be in a neck brace for a few months.
