Anybody into high Quality Watches?

Seems a little out of character for me that I am looking for a watch/timepiece that is probably going to cost me more than a set of Stage 2 single shots and a retune.

Is there anyone else out there that is into watches, or has an interest in quality time pieces. I think its a timeless thing that a watch just by perpetual motion can keep time within a few seconds everyday using the same design when the first watch was invented, before electricity was even invented.

I have had a few Citizen watches, but I think now is my time to step up and get a true Swiss movement automatic watch. Looking at a Ball Hydrocarbon GMT watch tommorrow.

So who else is out there and what watches are you into?

I have an older 14K two-tone Rolex with jubilee band. I don't wear it as often as I used to, I am in the habit of looking at the friggin cell phone now.

I've looked at several Tag Heuer watches in the past, just always been beyond my price range.

There are some nice Rolex's too.

I looked at the Ball Watches at the dealer this weekend, and the one I was originally set on didnt look quite right, but I really like the Aviator GMT looks like its what I want. It doesnt have a stainless band like I originally wanted, but the jeweler says he can get a band to fit it.

Yes I do the same thing and look at my cell alot. But there is something about a watch that makes time personal, like you own it. I guess feel that a watch is more than just telling the time, its a statement.

Yes Rolex is a good watch, but its also got alot to do with the name its made for itself. The logo has alot to do with it. Its a kings crown, they woudnt have the hype and rep if their logo was a dolphin or something.

Just sold my Panerai to the owner of MBRP. We decided on partial cash, and partial trade for goods.

But to answer your question, I am a watch junkie.
