Shotgun recommendations

What I'm looking for is a short handle, short barrel 12 gauge. Synthetic stock is a must, and holds lots of shells.

Something like this.

Reliability and light weight. I want to shoot buck shot.

... Ok, check this out. 5+1 capacity, short stock synthetic... Reasonably priced home defense gun IMO. You're going to have to have at least an 18" barrel to keep it legal, this ones got an 18.5"

I like that. Plus it has the 500 trigger right? I think thats what they are reffering to. My old Mossberg had this. Someone told me it was one of the best trigger actions you can find. Or maybe I have no idea what I'm talking about. lol

Norinco used to make a good, cheap home defense shotgun. Its a cheap chinese company makes SKS's and such. Not very good quality but more than adequate for what you're looking for. I would trust my life to one.... They had an 18" barrel, a pistol grip (no shoulder stock), and held 5 rounds IIRC. Used to be able to pick them up for a little over $200. I'll see if I can find a link to one.

I like the Mossberg. I think my local smithy has one on the shelf for 350. I was looking the other day, just not sure if its the same one your showing or not.

I have no idea about the trigger, never heard anything like that. But for the money, Mossberg is a decent company and has reasonably priced guns. I would imagine it would have the very same action and trigger as the 500, that would make sense to me.
