Problems with racer kids...

Well first off, I didnt know where to post this.

but here is my delema. These kids keep racing up and down my street. its is a residental street posted 25, lots of kids, and they are doing 100mpg plus around. I managed to nicely ask them to go somewhere else, and lastnight i happend to look out my window as the turfed my yard. My neighbors are upset because they think its me doing this, and now my neighbor got there yard truffed along with mine. And tonight i can hear them back at it, problem is cops need to catch them to do something, and I dont live in a town where cops got nothing to do... talking doesnt work. parking my truck in the street doesnt help, wondering what you guys think i should do.. im ready to take my gun out and help them out by taking out there tires...

i got an idea.
get a video camera and record it.
then call the cops show it to them. and maybe they'll pay some attention.
but if that doesn't work, you could aways jimmy up some spike strips

well im not going to shoot at anyone, that just anger talking. the camera is a good idea. but i dont know how well it would do, my house sits pretty far back from the street..

but i have put a piece of would with about 100 nails in it across the path in my yard they took before, i doubt they will come back. my other ideas are backing my truck into the street as they round the corner. my psd is in the street due to a blown trans, and they drove around it in my yard. so i am thinking of hooking a chain to the tow hitch of that to my other sd which is sitting in the drive, so if they come threw my yard and out the drive again they get a surprise of there life....

Video is your friend. Take it to the DA with your councelman. I also like large rocks painted black placed on your lawn, to slow down traffic.

Just have you and your neighbor park in wierd ways so people have to be going 25 mph in order to go around it.

I'd sit in the back of the truck with a peice of flat board with a bunch of nails sticking up on it. When they come racing by, throw it out before them lol.

Duct tape upside down going across the street. Or duct tape across the street at windshield heigth. That will startle them.
