If your street is made from asphault, pour some diesel on it and let it soak in. Once it has soaked in some pot holes, or a small gap, are easily made... No more racing. Atleast I think it was diesel that was used? You can also buy paver repair and create speed bumps if the law won't help you... G/L

Unfortunately the camera is not as effective as people think. Similar problem on my street and the police said cameras have to prove driver, plates time of day and speed (difficult to do with normal camers) we are still petitioning for speed bumps but thats just as hard its almost as if someone needs to be killed before the county does something about it (hope its not one of my boys that gets hurt)

get the nail strip, park out front with the vid cam, get the punks parents with you, if they are under 18 its the parents problem also, not just the kids, make them realize how much trouble they both will get in and i bet it stops. post the video of you striking back on the internet(every forum you can) this will get the attention of the authoities as well. me personally i like the shotgun effect. lol

back when i was in middle school the road i lived on was a straight entrance for my high school, and it was real curvy, long story short dumazz's were racing and one took a turn to fast rolled his car and wrapped it around the big oak tree in my parents yard his friend took off and my parents called the cops the kid died and people quit racing on that road...if one of them dies...it will probably stop...i dont feel sorry for anyone that dies while doing something stupid.

trust me, i have had friends die, doing stupid sh!t like that, and im sorry i really cant feel that bad. you dont need to drive 100 on a twisty, residential street. It just upsets me because in my case i feel like its going to be a 5 year old riding his bike that gets killed, then i will feel really bad. but i have no feelings for the driver if and when they whipe out.

well i found out, exactly who the kids are. and they know now that i know and are scared. so i am going to make them, fix my yard and my neighbors, and also say sorry to them. as for the racers, they are the ones who told me who did it. and i acted nice and told them the cops are patroling my street now, and have cameras. so both problems solved with a little mind game, so i get to save the violence for when it starts up again.
