I work for a major printer manufacturer. We make the little plate on the front of the ink cartridge that the ink squirts out of.

Yeah I'm a matainance tech. Thats why I can sit here and talk at night. Some nights I'm so busy I can barely get time for lunch. Some nights I have almost nothing to do. Tonight is an average night, i've had several truoble calls, but not to busy.

I was in the technical maintenance group at my last job as a tech....never worked night shift but whenever I was at work during the day, there was ALWAYS something to do.

Yeah we are a very small group, one of the last still in the US. So it's not like we have a lot of equipment to maintain.

supervisor and his boss, and his boss's boss would have to approve pictures...and probably so on and so forth

easier not to take pictures. anyway, lets just say, sign on door reads "Authorized Personnel Criminal Justice Agencies only" and 2 feet from my workstation a 12ga shotgun with 000 buck.

Sounds A LOT like what I do. The bunny suits are the best aren't they? My personal favorite is when I have to where a bunny suit over a bunny suit, 2 PAIRS of latex/nitrile gloves, hairnet and a face mask! I can't hardly call myself a maintenance tech anymore. I tell people that and they don't believe me because my hands are waaaayyyy too clean!

The real fun is when you have to get in where there is acid and you have wear a tyvek banana suit. A one piece jump suit with booties and a hood. All water tight. Just like wearing your own personal sauna.

Yeah, that's fun too. I'm on the HAZMAT team and it seems like my refresher training is alway in July/August. Love the humidity and smell of the suits. I'm just glad we only practice with the small scba bottles! I'd probably de-hydrate if I had to do that for an hour.
