I never knew that cars like that had a name. This is a Donk, was on a
TV show last week or two. Looks gross to me, but what do I know.

Urban legend or truth? I don't know but I was told that the phrase Donk was coined by a hip hop artist (if you can call that art with a straight face) because the emblem on an Impala looked like a donkey. I'm just repeating what I was told. And for the record, the emblem on an Impala looks like a, um....Impala to me.
