Thumbs down Amish Mafia?

i'm watchn this show "Amish Mafia" on Discovery Channel right now. I'm try to figure out who in the hell would even consider pitching this show for TV? Is there really nothing else that could be considered good TV?
I"m still trying to figure out if this show is supposed to pick up where the Saprano's left off? or is this a Amish TV version of "The Godfather" ?

whats your thoughts because this show makes me laugh at Hollywood now more than any other show on tv now

i watched breaking Amish and an episode or two of that.. and i think its utterly ridiculous X-D don't get me started on Here Comes Honey Boo Boo or the MTV show about teen moms.... gosh TV has become trash.. and on speed its nascar or repeats of old gears, truckU, hotrod TV, and such
