Poor little guy

Heard the alarm go off on the truck, go outside to check it out and find a baby bird lying in the middle of my walkway. No mama bird around, he obviously fell off the roof. I made him a little nest and brought him inside. Supposed to take him to the bird rescue place after 3:00 Poor little guy

What can I say, I'm a big softy when it comes to animals.

We had to do that some years back. A big wind storm blew the nest out of the tree. We took the three chicks to a rescue. The wife checked back later and all were doing fine. They were going to release them at the appropriate time.

Hope your little guy makes it.

It is kinda hard to see a obviously young animal in that condition. Good on you for actually taking the initiative to help it out!

Its one thing to kill a deer, elk, boar, etc. It sucks seeing the above.
