Everyone Meet "Chief"..... he is the newest addition to our family he is now 10 weeks old and is full Blooded German Shepherd. Once he is old enough he will be a search and rescue dog.

NO kidding... ive had him for two weeks... hes already completely house trained.... sits, shakes, fetches, stays and comes on command im amazed... my two year old minpin still get confused where her water is and its never moved....lol

Oh yeah!
My uncle has a german that is about 5 yrs old now, but showed intelligents very soon.
At 1 or 2 yrs old, he knew and understood the names of his toys and would fetch them at request from a bag in the corner of the house. Then, he would also put them all back when told to do so.

If you whisper to him, he focuses so close he tilts his head and locks on what your saying and then will fo exactly what you want him to do.

He is also strong! His idea of a stick is a 3' long 6" diameter log! Lol

German shepards rock, my dads has that stick/log confusion, ran up carrying one behind me and my brother and took both of out and kept walking.

here's the newest addition to my family, she's a year old Black and Tan Coonhound. She's really uncharacteristcally quiet for a hound, very sweet, very smart. her name is Jellybean It was my stepdad's idea...
