Why is it so hard to type on a forum?
I don't expect everyone on a forum to always have perfect spelling and grammar. But can we at least type whole words? I'd even be happy with a misspelled word, if it were fully typed out. I think there should be a rule, if you post on this forum asking for help, if you use "b4", or "ur", or just "b"...you don't get helped.
Jst so u no wut I mean, b4 u get mad, don't b mean 2 me 4 this, it's just my feelings. ![]() On another note, for the guys who take the time to type out your posts, thanks. |

I agree with you. And it seems that the once with the most confusing posts get butt-hurt the most when no one replies.

I know what you mean and it is a little annoying but it has never bothered me that much.

As soon as I see it in the OP's post, I stop reading and move on to the next.

The whole point of the Forum is to help people. Are you telling me that you are above helping people because you don't like the way they spell?

Not at all. What I'm saying is that, if someone can't take the time to at least try and communicate like a normal human, then I can't take my time to have to decipher what they're trying to say and then craft my response.

Well so be it then.
I can understand wanting the regulars to do this but I am thinking of all the newbs that come here looking for help or advice |

I'm just kidding with you, Ryan...I think that in today's day and age, some of that comes with the territory, BUT I also think that you should at least come into the forum and take it upon yourself to describe your problem the best way that you can. It makes it difficult enough to help someone over the internet, particularly when we use as many Acronyms as we do and not knowing anyone's background/skill set, etc. |
