Graveyard shift
Just curious, how many out there are working the graveyard shift like me, and how many are up all night just because they can be? I'm a graveyard shift guy myself. 9 years now, 6pm to 6am. FML.

I work 6:45PM - 7:15AM 3-4 days a week and love it. Of course the 12% differential helps me to love it just a bit more.

I would kill for a 12% differential! We get 50 cents an hour. Yea, you read that right. 50 cents. I am parts of the worst union ever. But I do like working 4 days, then getting 4 off.

Damn I'm really getting screwed on my shift differential. My union is pathetic! We are getting ready to lay a bunch of people off too. Lucky for me and the Powerstroke, I'm safe. Haha

Kinda wish I hadn't started this thread now. Every time someone says how much their shift differential is, I slip further into depression.

you dont get a diff?

Ha. Does $0.50 per hour count for working 6pm to 6am?
|

it does but not much. when i was on days working from 230p-1130pm, i got the $.50 diff since i worked past 10pm. if i worked full weekends, i would get $1 diff. and if my shift started after 8pm i get the $2hr.
