mine isnt truck related but does involve a car,
i borrowed my moms car when i was like 16 years old, kause she was out of town and let me so it was legit, but my dad asked me to take him to south Ga in it kause it was better on gas than his 01 excursion v10, btw this was a 1996 hyundai accent, green 5spd, and had no power options. well where on our way this car didnt run so good anyway, my dad cuts the ac on, car over heats and cuts off and we have to set on the side of I-75 for like 20 minutes let it cool a bit, check the fluids and found out it was stupid low on oil.
well we get it started and drive it to a gas station put like 4 or 5 quarts of oil in it (thats how stoopid low it was) and its making this horrible clanking sound after we had gotten it started to get to the gas station, was like a really laud obs diesel but in an ugly laud as hell way, not as nice as a diesel, so we were a lil over half way to south Ga so we were like screw it and drove down to pik up his motor cycle and clanking the whole way. every time i pass a car with the windows down i would rev the motor a little bit just kause it was hilarious, well we get to the bike, let the car cool off for about 2 hours, then crank it and drive it back to north Ga where my dad lives. we get on the interstate and im giving this car hell like im in the fast and the furious trying to get to the speed limit as fast as possible (i was 16, i was a sports car to me) well i make it about 3 or 4 miles up the highway and my dad is following me on his 02 honda goldwing (bright yellow btw) and all of a sudden BANG!!!!!!! motor blows, huge cloud of black smoke flies behind the car, my dads bike following got covered in black spots, (he just finished washing it too) and fire department pulls over infront of me kause car was still smoking like hell. we ended up leaving the car on the side of the highway and tried to go back for it a few days later, got towed at some point.
that is my stoopid story of being an idiot (and an adolescent)
this was my (sports car) mine was a darker green tho
this is my dads bike
