Today on the way home from ohio I got flipped off after I let a semi get in front of me in construction when the lane ended and shortly after I saw someone coming up the other lane so I moved to the middle of the 2 lanes and blocked. I got flipped off for keeping someone from running off the rd.

Another thing that gets on my nerves is the lack of respect for truckers and road workers. People give you dirty looks for following the speed limit of 45 through a work zone when workers are risking their lives to fix roads. And people in cars act like they own the highway. No. They don't. Semis own the highway. They live on them and make sure we have the goods we need. I just hate how people can't respect people working for their well being.

Dont sweat it your in a powerstroke!!! I do the same shi* blocking a lane when it merges into 1. Screw those idiots!! They are as dumb as they drive!

yep, I do the same too. I really like it when you get to where the lanes merge together, and the ones that did mange to get by, expect you to let them in....nope, it aint gonna happen!

I've done the same thing... and gotten the same kind of reactions.

Few years ago, on the way to a truck pull, there was a large back up due to construction. Thanks to a little bit of chat on cb radio, myself, and 4 other trucks blocked 3 lanes of traffic, and both breakdown lanes... plus had other trucks behind us, who would let us back in when we actually got to the construction zone. One car tried to go through the grass median to get around us, and thanks to some recent rain.... got stuck!!! Heard lots about that guy on the cb from trucks behind us!!!

guy i hunt with drives truck for bowman n tells me bout all that crap, i rode with him last thursday night and WOW was that an eye opener, one of my favorite things to do is when i'm cruisin in the left lane at a good pace and someone just has to be more important than you and pass you on the right i will speed up neck and neck with them then they gotta slam on the breaks n get bac behind you when there is traffic in the right lane, i did that to some girl for bout 10-15 miles down the highway one day

I'm glade to see that some one respects the truck drivers and road workers. As a truck driver i see this happening all day seven days a week.I was on my way home in my pickup and had a four wheeler cut bettween me and a big truck, running me into the medial strip. It's the drivers who think they can get ahead of the people that are in the proper lane that are the idiots.If you can't get in line prior to the merge scr-- you.

You're no ***. More people need to be like you and understand that it's not easy drving something large and the largest thing I've ever driven is my truck pulling a 32ft trailer (I can only imagine what it's like to drive a 40 ton 65 ft rig). I did it once on the Jersey Turnpike in a two lanes running into one lady came up behind blew her horn and when flying around me for 30yds and then came to a complete stop - well done lady well done.

I agree...people have no idea how or why to merge ahead of time...rush up the front of the line...everyone else should wait for me...To hell with that! I block them also and have been flipped off, yelled at, cussed at...etc. How about when you are on a two lane highway and you get the bozo who decides he wants to putt-putt along in the left hand lane...all signs read "Slower traffic stay right" and it never fails, always some idiot slowing everyone down in the left hand lane....Makes me wanna runn right over them!
