Moving to a different state

I'm just kinda lookin for advice on how one goes about moving to a different state. I'm sick of the weather here, and lack of any kind of jobs. I work for my dad now but he has pushed me over the edge and once we finish the job we are on i plan to quit.

I need a place to live and a job and any other BS i need to do before hand. How do i go about getting everything set up? I'm sure some of you here have moved before.

I don't care where you go just stay away from Illinois especially the central Illinois area.

look for jobs first. Before you consider moving. See what the job market is like.

Yahoo! HotJobs - Thousands of jobs. Find the right one.

Thats a good start

well you honestly could join the military....it's a really good gig....but you can't claim being married to your hand anymore...they don't compensate for family sep pay when you take your spouse everywhere with you....

no really though there are waivers for everything, you could join. I've been in 3 years, deployed twice, and the first time was super skate and I made about 30k....the second just skate....and I made about 14k....they pay my housing, my food, my healthcare, it's guaranteed pay every 2 weeks.

not too bad I think.
