Mag Lite LED

I got a led mag lite for Christmas three years ago and it is by far the best light I have ever had. But a few days ago I went to use and it didn't work, so I took it apart and the led fell out and I cant get it to work again. So my question is can I buy a new LED or do I have to buy the hole upgrade kit?

Check MagLite's website, I think you can buy replacement parts direct.

batteryjunction.com sells the LED conversion kit but it is way way brighter than the stock LED light and worth every penny in my opinion i had a regular 3 d cell light and my dad had the mag light brand led conversion in his i bought the conversion kit for like 21 bucks from batteryjunction and it makes my dads light look like a regular bulb
