SigSauer, I am in the same boat as you. Only that my Ex has a problem that needs to be fix. If you come across any good diesel mechanic or shop, I hope you wouldn't mind pass it along to me.

BTW, which Sig do you have? Are you in Nassau or Suffolk?

Mines going to the dealer Friday to diagnose and at least change oil, rotate tires

I'm well past due on a coolant flush and probably could use new fluid all around.

If I have anything major I'm going to bring the truck to someone probably outside of N.Y. there is a guy on Craig's list that lists bulletproofing Apr studs and sinister filter etc for 5700 or something if not I'm going to PA to a guy I found on here.

I'm in Nassau by Hewlett and Sig P220 Equinoxes amongst others.

I have a feeling its a leak seems to smoke when I have the heat on and I'm not getting great heat.

But who knows lol one way or another its gonna cost me

Do you know which Ford dealer in Nassau county has good diesel mechanic? I am still debating on which dealer to bring my Ex to to fix my warm start problem. I want them to do it right the first time.

I don't want to bring the Ex outside of nassau county cause chances are i have to drop off truck with mechanic & there's no one to give me a ride back home.

There's a diesel guy/shop in Hicksville called Richies Truck & Auto. The owner is on here name "perf diesel shop owner". I don't want to post any more info on this place without their permission. You can PM me for their full contact info if you want to give them a call & talk to them. See if they do the BulletProof on your 6.0. I may need to BulletProof my Ex in the near future.

It's going to cost us either way with these old diesels. If it's not today, then it's tomorrow.

Yup

I use Hempstead ford Lincoln mercury, ask for Mariah and tell her Isaac sent you, I won't deal with anyone else she's on top of everything and after numerous dealerships this is the one.

Shell also use any discounts when they are available.

Request jimmy to work on your truck, hes great.

Ill keep you posted
