I hate the dollar theater..... every time I go there (which isn't often...) I get a bad vibe. Now I know why...
If you see a white 2003-2004 PSD Crew Cab Dually with the FX4 package and a rodeo sticker on the back window that says Chihuahua under it, keep an eye out. That's the guy I think did it. He has a light blue Wisconsin(?) plate on his truck but I bet it was stolen. Just a heads up.
How about we just cruise montgomery and find him lol if they are hitting trucks again i would say they would be at grams like on wends- sat nite tones of trucks there
He still has that white dodge. His name is max A.K.A. Mad max. But i did see he on sunday when i went to visit my parents. He still works on everyones trucks.
No I've only been up there a couple times, but that might change this summer. I buddy of mine, who I believe is the true definition of a hustler, just bought 2 Baja boats so we'll probably head out there a couple times this summer.......alot of guys from El Paso head out there cuz its the closest large body of water
Thats cool i store my boat out there and a good friend of mine lives in el paso has a jet boat there too we all go all the time but that poor guy has a duramax kinda got hurt when my toyota pulled him out lol
:hehe::hehe:......I hear the sand can be pretty wicked out there......I had a buddy. whos a :tard:, that drove his brand new 06 F250 into a sink hole in the lake a couple of years ago...... even with 40" Swampers, 12" lift, you couldn't see the truck :hehe::hehe:
Who in Albuquerque is running a DP tuner or TW tunes? I have the juice with attitude and evolution and would like to see the difference and if it is worth me getting one of those or just sticking with what I have.
What tunes are on your SCT for the 6.0? I've been thinking about an SCT but I'm also thinking about a Dr. Performance module. I am not looking for insane power and I'm for sure not intersted in blowing up my head gaskets....
Stopped at Driver's Den today to talk alarms. Super Dutys must be close to the easiest trucks to steal. No computer coded keys so you can start em with a screwdriver. Probably simiar on all work type trucks because most people who drive them are contractors and six guys have the keys to the trucks. If they all had to be coded, it would cost a fortune. Unfortunately, that screws those of us who would like to keep our trucks around awhile. I'm thiking of a Clifford alarm unit with a starter and starter relay interrupt. The more of a PITA it is to hot wire, the better. Of course just removing a relay when I leave it somewhere would be a lot cheaper....:thumb:
Also thiking of covering up my door lock cylinders with a plate attached with security screws. I never use the cylinders anyway. I either use the remote or the keypad on the door. Heck, might as well jsut install rear door latches with no cylinders. Just one other thing to make it harder to get into.
I would egr delete (or bypass) your 6.0 before any tuner and maybe even head studs. but my sct was just canned tunes, but let me tell ya that tuner made that truck haul a$$.
I've found various sites that sell some kind of handle thing cause i really want one. but like they say, if someone wants something bad enough then they will get it. on a side note, the truck i just got has a clifford alarm with remote start and its tight
I've been thinking about an EGR delete. Sounds pretty easy to do but the truck is registered here in ABQ so it will need to pass emissions. I'll need to be able to put it back or make it look stock with no trace of any codes thrown..... or I could just register it at my sister's in Placitas. We'll see. Definitely something I'm interested in if it's a simple mod. I'll also go air filter and exhaust at some point Those are always solid mods. After all, it's just an air pump, right?
Probably going to do the Clifford. Those guys at Driver's Den are a good crew and have always taken care of me. :thumb: I'll let you know if I find something I like for the door cylinders. Like I said, I might just cover them up since I don't really use them and they are the weak link right now. It's not just the Fords either. My brother had the same thing happen to his Yukon a couple weeks ago. 'Tis the season! :dunno:
Just became a member last night im in Peralta right by los lunes. I dont have a psd yet but ive been wanting one. I drive a Bronco now. But a job sure would help looking for a PSD lol
I'm in Albuquerque. Settled here after retiring from the Air Force, son is now in the Army. This is my first diesel, let alone my first PSD and I couldn't be happier! I am using it for a daily drive to and from work and whenever the wife wants me to take her to dinner and such. I also use it to pull my 5th wheel toy hauler. I would like to get a bit more power out of it when pulling and a lot better mileage when I'm not. Don't have a lot to spend - any suggestions..??

She is bone stock. I can tow anything with a regular hitch, a 5th wheel hitch, or a gooseneck hitch, but the truck itself has no mods.
Truck has been to Michigan and back already (last year) and I would like a bit more OOMPH going up some of the mountain roads.
