Joining the 6.0 club

Just paid my first installment on the initiation fee... I bought a 2006 F350 CCSB last Saturday.

Now planning for the mandatory bulletproofing rituals (studs, etc.), and hopefully, a few fun enhancements.

Welcome to the club. If something breaks don't ask Jeff to help fix it. You will end up with duct tape everywhere and things leaking.

First thing is Gauges/monitoring solution

You might not need studs for a LONG time if you do everything else correctly and prevent the EGR cooler from rupturing

Already have the Edge CTS and pyro probe on order.

And of course, my plan includes “prevention” of EGR cooler issues.

I'm aiming for reliability and durability, with plenty of room for fun. To me, the studs seem like a worthwhile investment in peace of mind.

Thanks, man. Your BP article in the 6.0 forum was very useful. Excellent compilation of all the details and part numbers.
