Tri state coal rollers???

We should start this out guys. I feel like the west coast has a ton of clubs and we have none. So how do you guys feel about this?

I say go for it. We just revived our Ga. club just over a year ago. So far we have seen a huge turnout. I think the key is organization and event planning. Don't keep it all truck related, do some family events. If the wives/girlfriends have a good time they are less likely to complain if you have a truck only dyno or wrench day. Just an outsiders point of view.

Thanks for the input. I actually don't have a truck right now but plan to in about a year. Once I do, I'd like to have a club that did events an such. So I figure we might as well start now.

Go for it if you can keep everyone active in it! We just got our Empire State Strokers going, but with how big NY is, it is hard to organize meets and g2g.

Most of our members are in the Northern half of the state. We do get complaints of fuel costs and drive time from people, depending on which direction we are heading for a G2G. I can only imagine NY.

Now, based on some of the dates of postings in the chapter, I would say it's probably not that active, BUT....it might be a basis for someone to get things going again.

I'm not sure what you have in mind specifically, so I'm just letting you know about the above.

Thanks Darryl, I am aware of the jersey chapter. It isn't very active so I figured if we did a tri-state thing, it would get more people into it.

It's not super active b/c like Phantom has said w/ their chapter, everyone is scattered throughout the state and don't want to drive that far north or south to get to meets. We usually have 1 meet a month or so, but turnout is usually not that great. A tri-state may or ,may not work better.
