registering at class 2 would be 10,001 pounds then you dont have to go to inspection you do a self inspection thats really the best I can explain it to ya.I can ask my one buddy about it.

I have a 2008 250 cc sb and i have it registered at 11,999 so i don't have to get inspection as i am missing some exhaust parts . I think if you are self inspect you have to stop at the weight station, I never did. i have never had a problem in a year and a half. also I have a 2.5 front 1in rear lift truxx lift on the way along with my 6in stack and spartan tuner i picked up from extreme diesel last weak going on this weak hopefully. Also you can register your truck as Pass-Comm Basically its registered under a company name but can only used to transport passengers no hauling commercial trailers or equipment with it it you get caught you can get fined. i never had a problem i haul landscape trailers and bobcats all the time. I don't think most of the cops know the laws, at least the MVC don't.
