PCSing to Las Vegas

I will be PCSing to Nellis AFB this summer. Are they any reputable diesel shops or ford dealers in the area?

Also looking to buy a house...any areas i should stay away from? Where are the good schools located ?

Any help or insight to the area would be appreaciated.

stay north of the 215 in northwest vegas or in summerlin are best places. "total parts and equipment" is the best ford repair place i have delt with anywhere, and they do warranty work on my truck, so needless to say they are "mod" friendly which can be hard to find.

sorry bud, yeah they are hard to find online because there not a dealer, just a service facilty, they dont advertise much, and they just changed there name, here is there website and number

Well I arrived here yesterday and I get to spend time in the extremely small TLF building on base. So far i like the area, going to take some time getting used to how big it is. When i get time I will check that place out mentions above.

jetjock so they will work on our light duties then? thats good to know! I normally go to friendly ford but if thats the case they are closer to me!

Yessir, they put in new injectors in my superduty under warranty just this last winter.
