If I could get down there I would man. But it is just not feasable for me right now. Plus Nov. 10th is close to the ending of Bow Season for deer hunting. If you want to meet me during that time you would have to come find me in my treestand.

Exactly, Marc and shawn planned DITD for 2 month solid. It was a ton of work on both ends. Finding a way to keep the members entertained is very important. Just having a few people stop your house won't cut it. The APG has meetings ALOT and are well planned out. When Shawn Started DITD it was a couple of guys going to the lake to drink some beer and hang out on our boat. Next thing you know, the boats way over crowded and 100 trucks are parked at Speedworld. Both shawn and Marc did a Awesome job of marketing the event. Opening it up to all diesels was a big plus. Shawns a ford guy but he truely loves all diesels no matter what brand they are. Shawn has already been on the horn to some sponsors and talked to the track twice this week for DITD 2008. Marc said in one of his post he figure he had 250 hours planning DITD, and I know Shawn had that easy also. It looks like a bunch of time and effort is going into the meet in NC also, and so far looks to have a great turn out. I know DITD will have some new stuff instore for everyone

I agree that we need to thank Marc and Shawn for all they did - it was awesome!! And the meet in TX was not planned by the .org... it is an extension of the Wolfe Dance II that is being put on by Wolfe Ford/Dodge in Vernon, TX. We just decided it would be a good place to make a powerstroke.org event alongside an even that was already gonna have a couple country music singers having a concert -- thats why there hasn't been a date set yet
