Starship Troopers - the book

I know the movie came out ten years back and has been on TV several times - it's a hack and an abomination of the book by Robert Heinlein (except for Denise Richards, of course). I won't even bother with the sequels. But the book....
Heinlein wrote this book over 50 years ago and I'm amazed at how spot on he is with the problems of today. In fact, his "lectures" in the book through his Philosophy teacher in high school are the best part.
If you have a couple of evenings over the holidays it's a great read.
