My overall favorite would be the remake of Gone in 60 Seconds.

I own both versions on DVD and while I like the original and appreciate Rob Halicky's work in the original, I like the new Elanor.... Bullitt is way up there too

Re: Best car movie

I can't stand the remake. I own all of Toby halickis DVDs . Except the junkman . I got the first 20 minutes of gone in 60 seconds 2. He had a hell of a opening scene driving a big rig . It worth watching

Remake of Gone in 60 sec is my fave, haven't seen the original. New fast 5 was pretty good.

Hands down, Bullitt is my favorite. Best car chase scene ever in a movie IMHO
